error when clicking search and login tabs

I upgraded from FF2 TO FF3.6

when I type in username and passwords fields or type some words in search engine field and click the the login or search tab , nothing happens and yhe page remains still

Hi.

I suspect something may be wrong with your profile (it's not often that users update from 2.0 to 3.6). Try running Firefox in safe mode to see if that fixes the issue. If it does, please say so. If it doesn't, I wouldn't know how to fix it other than creating a new Firefox profile (just ask how to, I'll help you).
