tabs open in firefox

bryson231

thank you in advance for your time!!

i open firefox and it opens the tabs from when i closed it. that is good.

when i open task manager, it says there are 13 or more tabs open but it only shows 3-5 tabs open??

it uses up so much of my memory and who is it that has access?

again, thank you!

Firefox can show more processes in Task Manager than the number of visible tabs. That's normal. It uses multiple processes for things like individual tabs, extensions, graphics, and background tasks. It doesn't necessarily mean someone else has access to your browser.

To check what's using your memory:

1. In Firefox, press Shift + Esc to open the Firefox Task Manager. 2. Check which tabs or extensions are consuming the most memory. 3. Close any tabs you don't need and disable extensions you don't recognize. 4. If memory usage remains unusually high, try Firefox Troubleshoot Mode to see whether an extension is contributing.
