how get my address book back onto computer hardrive failure?
One of my two computers had to be restored from hard drive failure. Thunderbird has been reinstalled, but the previous addressbook is no longer there. How to I restore the contacts of my previous address book. If I have to export the address book from my other computer, can I export only the address book?

The addressbook is in two files: abook.sqlite and history.sqlite. If you're comfortable with windows file explorer, you can simply copy the two files from one profile and paste into the other - when thunderbird is not running. To locate the profile, click help>troubleshootinginformation, scroll to 'profile folder' and click 'open folder'. You will be in the profile and those two files are immediately available.
