Running MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1 and Firefox 149.02, but Bing daily image does not load. Appears "greyed out" on Firefox. Thinking about changing my default browser.

Hey Lucchek,

I saw you posted in here as well as here so I locked them so we can keep everything in one place.

I couldn't replicate your issue on my end and I couldn't find an existing bug report so far. I know you've tried multiple troubleshooting options including clear cache, and refresh Firefox. Have you tried creating a new profile and see if it help?

Hi, Kiki,

OK, they have not yet visibly responded to your question, but I can.

Yes, yes I now (under your advice) tried switching profiles, and yes it did work. So now we have a way to access embedded images within an existing shared doc that used to work.

But.

Changing profiles from scratch whenever this happens would be ... onerous. So q1) What's broke? q2) Is Mozilla gonna make it less likely to recurr, and if so when? q3) Seriously what broke, a setting? a plug in? Can you narrow it to a finite list of variables that are changed when one changes profiles, and I can vary those (the shorter accurate list the better, please) to see what I need to change on my previous profile rather than "Burn the house down to deal with a spider", by murdering my curated profile, because it suddenly, for lack of a better word: "Fails".

Best wishes, -=Dave-Dave
