I am using the Thunderbird software (140.7.1esr 64-bit) for mail merge purposes on a Windows 11 operating system. However, when I start the mail merge process, it begins initially but then automatically disconnects before completing the task.

Due to this issue, I am unable to complete the mail merge properly. Kindly look into this problem and provide a solution as soon as possible.

Mail-merge is an addon that is supported by its developer. I suggest you - disable other addons and retry - if it still does not work properly, contact the developer

I found a fix for Mail Merge that even works with "Send Now". I was sending using a .csv file and a 4 second delay. The email had an attachment. The server is imap.gmail. After sending 3 or 4 emails Mail Merge would error. With no attachment I could send 20 or 30 before receiving an error. I set the "Sent Mail" to a local folder and 245 emails with attachment went out with no errors.
