How can i stop this message when opening thunderbird: https://p31-caldav.icloud.com is requesting your username and password.

I receive the following message each time I open Thunderbird but I enter my iCloud Password and still it asks. I hit cancel severals times and it goes awayt and my icloud calendar works so it seems Thunderbird is connected to iCoud?

Are you entering the account password or an app password? The latter is required for calendar sync.
