Hello, Here are some ways to fix "no sound" in Firefox :

  1. Unmute Tab/Volume: Click the speaker icon on the tab or press Ctrl + M.
  2. Check Output Device: If you disconnected headphones, Firefox might be trying to send audio to a non-existent device. Switch to your speakers in the Windows Volume Mixer.
  3. Restart Audio Service: On Linux, restart PulseAudio/PipeWire, or check for locked audio in Windows.
  4. Update/Reinstall Audio Drivers: Open Device Manager, right-click audio devices, and choose "Update driver".
  5. Disable Extensions: Test with extensions disabled (Troubleshoot Mode) as ad-blockers can cause issues.
  6. Reset Audio to Default: Set your audio output device to "Default" in Windows settings.

Hope it helps!
