I do not have micros password or ID to set up Thunderbird for use with my S23. Please help
I changed my Windows 10 Thunderbird password 3 weeks ago. Every day since then I have not received a single email on my S23 Samsung cell. When I go to log into my Micros account to enter my password I do not have and cannot add or replace an old password. How about I make a donation to Thunderbird for an answer that works?

This looks like the fourth thread you initiated on this problem, even though help was been offered. The problem appears to be between you and your email provider, as Thunderbird cannot provide a password. The best Thunderbird can do is make available the last password that worked. Which is obviously wrong. To get a working password, the place to go to is the email provider's website.
Thanks for above reply. I am going to call my provider after this email to you. No change with not receiving Thunderbird emails on my S23. And a big reason even after downloading Thunderbird to my cell I have another. Another question where to go to change name I gave for use with Thunderbird on my Laptop? I used my name and not thinking I should change to something else. For some reason I cannot find tool bar! Thanks
I found tools menu. Very simple upper right corner. I have been there before. Now back to where to go to change my account name? Thanks
On PC, just click 'account settings' and the top screen for an account shows account name. Just overtype what you prefer.
David, I do not see 'account settings'. How much does it cost to talk to you? Or about this. Using Thunderbird on my laptop. What size donation can I make to Mozilla Support to change my Thunderbird name and get Thunderbird using QR codes from it onto or into my S23 Thunderbird?
I downloaded Thunderbird three weeks ago but cannot complete a QR transfer because my Micros password is blocked.
Thanks
Donations do not affect the support that you receive. Paid support and support by phone are not available.
To get help with Thunderbird on Android, try the Android forum: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/thunderbird-android
To access account settings, clck on the three-line button (≡) at the top right of the Thunderbird window.
You need to reset your primary password in Thunderbird. I do not know exactly how to do it. Maybe someone else does. But start by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Passwords > Change primary password. You might search the forum for help on resetting the primary password.
Thanks Rick, I will let you know what happens.
