Book mark issues with updated firefox
I cannot edit bookmarks and delete no longer needed ones, Then I found that the bookmark backup no longer writes any files for back up.
Chosen solution
I ran the troubleshooter then check the file it was corrupted so i deleted it and restored for a week old back up works fine now but thanks.

It sounds like the Firefox update may have corrupted your profile. That can cause issues like not being able to edit or delete bookmarks and backups not being created. Try starting Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode first. If that doesn’t help, creating a new profile and moving your bookmarks there is usually the most reliable fix.
