How do I stop Thunderbird 115.10.1 closing tabs by itself? Previous version (I don't know what previous version I was running before the inadvertent forced update to 115.10.1) would leave tabs open until I manually closed a selected tab. How do I get 115.10.1 to perform the same way?

I am no longer using v115 but it should work just as it does in v145. Some layout settings and open tabs are stored in the session.json file in the Thunderbird profile. Open the profile folder https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_how-do-i-find-my-profile then close Thunderbird, delete the session.json file from the profile folder and restart Thunderbird. A new session.json file will be created and hopefully work better than the old one.
