Erreur d’authentification. Connexion au serveur impossible. La configuration, l’identifiant ou le mot de passe sont probablement incorrects.
Hello, After replacing my PC (Windows 11), I reinstalled Thunderbird. I have 4 GMail accounts. For 3 of them, no problem. But for one, I have the error 'Authentication error. Connection to server is impossible. Configuration, identifier or password look incorrects'. I used default settings. This account is not particular. Issue remains after deleting this account, restarting Windows, and re-creating this account. I've created a new Windows user, then add this GMail account, and no problem. So what do you think of this? The only workaround for me is to switch between 2 Windows user. It's not useful. And I don't understand why this account, which is similar to others, has this issue. Thanks a lot for your answers.

My first suggestion is to verify that the SMTP server is for that account. To do that, - click 'account settings' - click the account name in left sidebar - now, on bottom line in right side of screen, click the 'edit SMTP server' button - on next screen, verify that the email account is correct, and not for one of your other accounts - if it is for another account, go back to prior screen and click the drop-down menu for outgoing SMTP server and set to the right server.
The above may not be relevant, but it is a common problem when a user has multiple accounts with same provider.
Thank you David for your quick answer. Unfortunatly, email account is correct in SMTP server.
