Unable to install - Install crashes

I'm trying to install Thunderbird on a Mac Studio with OS Sequoia 15.3. In the first step I'm asked for my user name, email address, and password. When I hit the [Continue] button the install crashes and issues a crash report. Is there a compatibility issue at play here? Is there an alternative method of installation?

If you're trying to set up an Exchange account, it could be this bug.
