When I try to send an email I get this message

"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Authentication required. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again."

My email address in my account settings is correct. What can I do?

you account seeings are unlikely to be correct if you are getting that message.

Check them again any pay attention to the authentication method. it should either be normal password or oauth is you are using yahoo, google or Outlook/Hotmail.

I do not think there are any providers that allow sending anyl onger with out authentication and you error is certainty indicating you are using one that requires authentication.
