The recently updated version of Thunderbird mail Sept 25th has lost the ability to send mail 

the send arrow is missing. 
II tried uninstalling & re installing bu t the problem remains.
am now operating on Windows 11 ,I think the version for Windows 10 may have been downloaded.

Chosen solution

If the send button is missing do this: - click 'new message' - if menu bar is not visible press the alt key - click view>toolbars and tick 'composition toolbar'
