Hello, the main cause of my assistance enquiry is

 that i received a confirmation email message from my watersupplier that i sent them  my watermeter figures  . the messagetext,  of abt 0900hrs local time, was blanc and after closing the message i saw that my full inboxcontent  has disappeared.  can you help me here?  is there an issue with thunderbird  momentarily so that it might be resolved later?

Hallo Cor, wellicht helpt repareren van uw Postvak IN: rechtermuisknop op de map > Eigenschappen > Map repareren.

Thnks Mark for your reaction but unfortunately it did not get solved by doing so. is the data not available anymore on the thunderbird server so that they might download it back on my account?

Thunderbird heeft geen servers waar uw mail op staat. uw mail staat lokaal op uw computer en bij uw emailprovider. Kunt de mail wel lezen via uw webmail?

Nee, er staat niets op de server van Thunderbird, uw berichten staan in uw profiel op uw eigen apparaat. Als u IMAP gebruikt, dan zou u een nieuw profiel aan kunnen maken. Als het goed is krijgt u uw berichten dan terug. U zou ook nog kunnen proberen of comprimeren helpt, soms lost dat ook problemen op.
