Thunderbird (141.0 on Win11) freezes when trying to find configuration for new account (accounthub)
The help page doesn't include my version of T'bird, only going up to version 128. When I try to create a new mail account, it only asks for my name and the new email address, then goes into a continuous search loop.

Disable the Account Hub in Settings/General and add from ⩸ - New Account - Email.
Many thanks. It worked a treat. Why the H was that changed? It just didn't seem able to find the configuration.
I don't know why they put experimental and ineffective features in ESR or release versions, when they belong, if at all, in beta or daily versions.
