Sorry, this is a bug with some Firefox themes in Firefox 140. It should be fixed in an upcoming update.

For now, if you want light text on a dark background, could you test whether the built-in Dark theme works? If you prefer dark text on a light background, could you test whether the built-in Light theme works? You can switch themes using the Add-ons page, see: Use themes to change the look of Firefox.
