i've already tried that and it didn't work, i've searched the forum and nothing but i found a folder in the fire fox profiles but i don't know how to get it onto firefox i think its a backup but idk maybe i can get help to see if that will work?

Nathan, if you want to test whether the folder that you found contains the missing data, you could try launching it as a profile using Firefox's command-line options.

But before attempting this I would first make a backup copy of the folder that you are testing.

For information on the command-line options To launch Firefox with that folder see this article: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/CommandLineOptions

so for example, in Windows you would be launching a command in the Run dialogue box that might look something like the following: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profile "[path to the test folder]"
