Old sync, new computer

I have used Firefox bookmarks via sync for 20 years!! My previous computer is bricked and cannot be accessed. I have a fancy sync code but when I download Firefox on my phone or new computer, it’s like I’m a first time user. It offers me a new sync code but won’t allow me to use what I have. Are my files recoverable? Can I wipe from my old machine too?

Sync info... FYI... Sounds like you need to put the old drive into an external case and access the data. If you want to get your geek on, you can also boot the old computer with a live linux usb stick.  ;-))
