TB will longer move gmail email to local folder

I have a few gmail accounts imported to TB. I get a lot of email and probably save 2% and delete the rest. I have set up different folders in "Local Folders" to keep them where they belong. I.E work, purchases, and folders that pertain to vehicles etc. I have always just drag and dropped emails to their respective folder.

Now when I do this, they seem to go there as the gmail inbox shows them gone. But when I check the local folder where I put them, nothing moved? If I go back to the gmail inbox, there they are again. I then tried the right click and "move to" option. It does the same thing and just tricks me into thinking they were moved.

Not only that, after an update or 2 ago to TB, when I click to read an email, and delete it, I have to wait a bit and watch the progress bar until I see the deleted message. If I don't, TB puts the deleted email in the "All Mail" or "Important" gmail folders and I have to delete them again.

What's going on here?

I've seen something similar with a Gmail account, it happens from time to time, even with low email traffic. Rebuilding the index file of the Gmail Inbox folder usually helps.
