Dear Firefox Support, My issue is with the browser I use 136.0.1 (64-bit). Select Help menu (Restart to update Firefox) I've preformed this task several times so far and I keep getting the something over as I click on Help menu. I restart the browser again however it is the same thing "Restart" again. What is my next step here?

Thank you, Dave 18 March 2025

Hi Dave, if you already have 136.0.1, you are mostly up-to-date. There is a new 136.0.2 releasing today, but on the first day, the update server generally only reveals that a small percentage of the time that different Firefox installations ask whether an update is available. (This is done to watch for any major disasters that could result from the update.)

I'm not sure whether your Firefox is trying to install 136.0.2 and failing, or whether it doesn't realize it already installed 136.0.1. If you check the Help > About Firefox dialog, does it mention an option to upgrade again?

Hello, Yes, it does mention update Firefox again however no other option there. I've updated it several times so far and it's just the same thing..Like it's stuck on the same update.
