Thunderbird stopped working after update 128.6.1esr (win10)

Nothing is working on Thunderbird after update this morning. Get Messages when clicked -nothing happens. Does not bring up login window. Window is not hidden. I can open write message, but again, no password window to send.

Restarted both Thunderbird and windows machine. Update history shows installed and successfully so. Cannot find a place to rollback update to test.

Debugging mode does not even show get messages - nor does using menu in attempt to get messages do anything.
