Apple.com and iCloud.com reject my login, but only in Firefox for Mac.

In Firefox, and only in Firefox, I get 'Failed to verify your identity' on these sites. I have updated MacOS and Firefox, rebooted, tried a different DNS, and disabled all of my extensions. With extensions disabled I don't get the error, but the login site won't accept my login at all. See the attached image. I can't think of anything else to try.

Did you clear your browser cache?

Oh now I feel dumb. That worked! I've worked in IT since before it was called IT - I should have thought of that. But I didn't, so THANKS!

I have no issues on Linux with the site. see screenshot What OS? What version of Firefox? Let me see what happens on my old mac running 10.13.6. What happens with your phone number?

MacOS 15.2, Firefox 134.0.1. I hadn't tried logging in with my phone # so I just did - it locked my account. I unlocked it, and then in desperation changed my password. Still no go. (I can still get in with Chrome or Safari.) Apple is no help, just points to FF of course.

If I worked at Apple, I would have told you the same thing since it works in other browsers. ;-) Post a screenshot of your privacy settings. I know you tried with add-ons disabled, does that mean you tried Troubleshoot Mode? Did you clear your browser cache? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox Also post a full browser screenshot showing the issue. It looks like something is cut off at the top of your screenshot.
