The SMTP password is requested. I do not know it. The first time I installes Thunderbird everything was done automatically. Tks for your help Best Jose L

The SMTP thunderbird is normally the same as for the incoming server. Possibly, if you post the complete error message and a screenshot of your SMTP server settings, more ideas will be offered
