from membership in several mailing lists, I receive eMails in duplicate (where "duplicate" means identical in sender, date/time, subject and contents) in my inbox.

Is there any way to select (and delete) such duplicates?

there is this addon - https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/removedupes/ but it doesn't appear ready yet for 128.
