I clicked the 'a' key on a folder in my email and a stack of emails disappeared. Some unread and some requiring a response! They're not in the archive folder.

Bit by bit, I worked out that as I downloaded Thunderbird from the Microsoft Store, I was missing a vital folder in Windows. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird (from Mozilla) and some of the emails have appeared!

I have learnt my lesson though! Don't touch 'a' key!!! :)
