Firefox keeps crashing whenever i open a file (i.e. Cpanel) etc. I can open web links etc fine.

Crash Reason EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ Crash Address 0x0000000000000000

Not having this problem in either Edge or Chrome.

Was working fine for months until today.

Have tried new profile and refreshing windows / rebooting etc - no joy.

Any ideas?

Cheers, Dean.

So it's whenever it's trying to open a file locally for uploading etc from within Firefox.

Not got the problem in Edge or Chrome.

Does it crash before or after the file dialog appears?

Do you happen to use the Windows On-Screen Keyboard (OSK)?
