After experiencing problems with my email that no one could explain or remedy, I renamed the TB folder OLDTB and uninstalled the program. I then downloaded and installed TB115.8 using Windows7. I successfully auto added two long-term (I’ve had them for years) comcast.net email accounts. But when I tried to add a long-term gmail account – MyName@utexas.edu – I received the message, “Authentication failed. Either the entered credentials are incorrect or a separate username is required for logging in...” I have verified with Comcast that my username and password for this *.edu account are correct. I tried setting it up manually and that too failed. Any help would be appreciated.

What has your *.edu Gmail account got to do with Comcast?

I tried setting it up manually and that too failed.

Please explain in detail the exact steps you did, and what happened.
