using Frontier.com for email. TB v 102 stopped working yesterday. Updated to v 115...(latest) and still failing: does "Host contacted, sending login information" and freezes. what?

every occurrence I am aware of described like you have is because some antivirus product is interfering in the mail process and doing is badly. Try disabling it.
In this case it was not antivirus stuff. No way I could know, but Frontier & Yahoo changed their acceptable pop3 and smtp addresses. I am sorry for taking your time.
dvmeller what was the change that Frontier and Yahoo made to the pop3 and smtp addresses? Many other posters including myself have posted this issue.
The new addresses for frontier.com email are: pop.mail.yahoo.com port 995 (same port) smtp.mail.yahoo.com port 465 (same port)
The old addresses were (I believe): pop.frontier.com (or pop3.frontier.com) port 995 smtp.frontier.com port 465
