Dear Support,

I hope somebody can help me. I write concerning a piece of software called Privacy Eraser. This basically protects privacy, by deleting your own digital footprint.

On Privacy Eraser, there is a section called Browsers, which details all the browsers a user uses. I use Firefox, but it does not show using this piece of software. (It shows other browser's like Microsoft Edge, which I do not use.)

Am I doing something wrong here, or is Firefox just disguising itself on my machine, please?

yours Marek

Hi Marek

I recommend that you contact th support team for that software - it looks like they have not built it to support Firefox.

The Privacy Eraser website advertises Firefox support.

How did you install Firefox?

Dear Zeroknight,

Thanks for your post. I can confirm I did get my laptop about 2 years ago. One of the first things I did was to install Firefox as my main browser. Am a great Firefox fan. Just that the software, Privacy Eraser, does not show that I have Firefox as my main browser. Instead, it basically says I have Microsoft Edge, which I have not used in my whole life. Was thinking that maybe Firefox itself somehow 'disguises' itself, so that Privacy Eraser cannot see it?

Also Paul, have contacted the support forum for the software Privacy Eraser,

Yours Marek

I also recommend it not forum but they do have a "contact us" link and that should use as well to get a reply back from developer faster.
