Change in Browser Settings Leading to Website Display Problems
I trust you're all doing well. I'm currently facing a page not loading situation and could really use some assistance. It appears that someone at my company office has made changes to the settings on my PC, and now I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm unsure about the best way to restore things back to normal.
As a temporary measure, I've installed the Waterfox, browser besided by my private Firefox Focus which seems to be similar in functionality to Mozilla Firefox, as a backup for my work-related tasks. However, this has brought about a new set of issues. Numerous websites, including YouTube, are failing to load correctly. For example, when I access youtube.com, I can hear the audio from videos, but the visuals are not displaying. Furthermore, websites like http://wishcodes.com/ http://wishcodes.com/ are missing images, and even my Facebook page isn't loading.
I've attempted to clear my prime Firefox browser cache, hoping it would resolve the situation, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked. I'm truly hoping to identify a solution that won't involve losing any of my data, bookmarks, passwords, or other critical information.
Would you be kind enough to walk me through a simple method to address this problem? I'm very eager to resolve this without resorting to deleting any of my essential data. I genuinely appreciate your expertise and guidance.

<snip> I'm looking to reset Firefox, and I've just discovered the existence of the troubleshoot mode within the browser Help section. I'm wondering if this mode could potentially resolve the loading issue without causing any loss of my data.
Resetting or 'refresh' can have unwelcome consequences so use it only as a last resort and after backing up your profile. Troubleshoot mode may help. If only one website is affected, removing cookies and 'forgetting' the site may help. If you use the latter, make sure any login details are backed up as those details will also be forgotten.

Hello. I gather you had one issue before installing Waterfox, now you have several. Can you be more specific about the "page not loading situation"? I can't see what your screenshot is supposed to show.

Hi
I would not recommend installing or using Waterfox.
So that we can better help you:
- Are only certain websites not loading?
- When a page does not load, is there any error message, what do you see on the screen?

I see an embedded video in that area.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
