Google Fonts -Browse fonts

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) Monterey 12.6.7 Browsing fonts on Google Fonts. All previews of fonts are in Sans Serif, rgardless of applying "serif' filter. If I quit out of Firefox and launch Safari the fonts display correctly (ie serif fonts appear as they should) whereas in Firefox they all appear as Sans Serif. Have searched various help topics but cannot find an answer.
