Is there a way to get the reader mode in directly in gmail?
Hello,
I really enjoy Firefox's reader mode and the "listen" (text to speech) function. I get an email newsletter that doesn't have a web page (i.e. the content exists only in my inbox).
Is there a way to have Firefox use the reader mode in gmail? Or is there another app I can use?
Thanks!

Unless the site supports it then it will not work. You need to contact Gmail for that question.
This extension may do what you want.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Unfortunately, Firefox's reader mode is currently not available directly within Gmail. Reader mode is designed to enhance the reading experience on web pages by removing distractions and providing a clean and focused view of the content.
Since your email newsletter content exists only in your inbox, it is not possible to use the reader mode feature within Gmail. However, there are alternative options you can explore to achieve a similar reading experience.
One option is to copy the content of the email newsletter and paste it into a text editor or a word processor that has a "reader" or "focus" mode. Many text editors and word processors offer distraction-free reading modes that can help improve readability.
Another option is to use a dedicated email client or application that supports reader mode or provides a simplified view for reading emails. Some email clients may have built-in features or extensions that can enhance the reading experience.
I hope these suggestions help you find a suitable solution for your needs. If you have any further questions or need assistance with any other Firefox-related topics, feel free to ask.
