Firefox up-grades
Firefox up-grades always reset my preferences settings presumably to a Firefox default condition. I then have to reset them back to where I want them. Can I stop this happening?

Hi jim_mci,
I understand that Firefox upgrades sometimes reset your preferences settings, which can be frustrating. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to prevent this from happening in the future.
To ensure that your preferences are not reset during Firefox upgrades, you can try the following:
Enable Firefox's automatic updates: By keeping Firefox up to date with the latest version, you may reduce the likelihood of encountering preference resets.
Backup your Firefox profile: Before performing any Firefox upgrades, it's a good idea to back up your Firefox profile. This way, if any preferences get reset, you can easily restore them from the backup.
Use a Firefox extension: There are several extensions available that can help preserve your preferences during upgrades. One popular extension is "Firefox Profilemaker," which allows you to save and restore your Firefox profile settings.
By following these suggestions, you may be able to minimize the impact of Firefox upgrades on your preferences settings.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with.
