Hi. 

  I was trying to migrate over to Thunderbird, but all appeared to be going good until most of my e.mail was being transfered into Thunderbird the program suddenly stopped and I rec'd a message that makes no sense to me.  I'm unable to migrate over or use Thunderbird. Any idea what is the problem?

I am not sure what you're doing, as that error generally indicates an error on server for POP accounts.
