In my copy of Firefox 112.0.2 I have https only enabled in all windows. I frequently get: "You’ve enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of www.software995.net is not available." yet when I select "Continue to the http site" it opens https://www.software995.net/bin/pdf995s.exe Firefox Developer edition 113.0b9 goes directly to the page unless in private mode in which case it reports a self signed certificate. This has yet to be an insurmountable problem but I expect someone will be interested.

It is possible that you use a bookmark or link that ends up with a server redirect.

A server redirect only works with HTTP and not with HTTPS, so make sure you use the correct URL.

If you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

There was no bookmark involved. The link came from a duckduckgo search http://www.pdf995.com/download.html This was the latest example which happened to occur just when I had a few minutes to spare. I should note that once the correct page has loaded once then the error does not repeat even after closing the browser. I do have an issue with a start page shortcut to the site http://storeopinion.ca/ which always returns the error the first time it's used even though the https://storeopinion.ca/ address is available. If I knew how how to edit the shortcuts I could make that problem go away.
