Closed captioning displayed out of sync
The closed captioned text is out of sync with the video. The captioning is running well ahead (20-30 seconds) of the video, which renders it nearly worthless. Can I sync picture and text somehow, or is that in the domain of the content provider?

have you tried refreshing the video if yes and the problem is still there it's the providers fault
It is possible that the video lags and can't keep up where the caption text shows properly.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Settings -> General -> Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make changes effective.
