I just realized that I have been using Zoom Control in Firefox to control items in Outlook. The first thing I log into is Firefox, after that, I log into Outlook 2019 and I use Zoom for Outlook since I have both Taskbars available. Some of it works and some of it doesn't. For example, I cannot change the size of messages I receive and send out. I am not referring to the text size I'm referring to the whole page of Outlook. The Zoom will zoom in or out on other parts of the page in Outlook but not the message section.

If anyone understands this I would appreciate some help. I'm already working with MS Outlook on this as well.

Thanks Rhonda

I received an email from willjoe24421 Mar 26, 2023, 5:06:56 PM

But I don't see any messages here in Mozilla Support. Is this email for real?

You may have accidentally zoomed webpage(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.

I am aware of the Zoom settings for Firefox, however, they do not have any effect on Outlook.live since Outlook has its own settings. I just discovered that myself. One thing that is different about the link you sent, under Language and Appearance your page shows Website Appearance, and included in that is "Firefox Theme". I don't have that option only Automatic, Light, and Dark. My page does say "Manage Firefox Themes in Extension and Themes", like the example you sent.

In Outlook, I have the Zoom option to Reset Zoom and the only thing that affects is the text size in the message itself but nothing else.

Thanks, Rhonda
