Before I upgraded to Fedora 37 Thunderbird worked fine. Now I cannot open any attachments. When I go to open an attachment I get two options, "system handler" or other. System Handler does nothing, other gives two selection neither of which work. Why is this happening and how can I fix it. Thanks. Thunderbird version: 102.6.0 (64 bit). Thanks.

I use Windows OS, but it sounds like you have installed a flatpak version of Thunderbird.

The issues you mention have been raised at the following link with some helpful comments :

This may be because TB has been sandboxed and there may be permission issues. Apparently, flatseal is a good GUI for adjusting flatpak app settings/permissions

Have you considered not using a flatpak version of Thunderbird?
