after updating I can no longer see pages of open tabs, just the one I'm on. If I go to customize toolbar I can see the old open tab view, but this is awful for me. I want the old behavior back

I'm not sure what you mean with "pages of open tabs", can you give more detail? Was this a drop down list like "List All Tabs" or do you mean a specific page ?
