Secure Connection Failed - Laptop issue

Hi there, I keep getting an error message when I try to login to some secure access websites that I use for work purposes.

I get the following error report with no code #:

"Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to (website). The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Learn more...

Try again" 

(*this always fails).

This is only an issue on my laptop. If I use another computer I can access the website without issue.

How to I fix this issue on my laptop?
