I had no problem with https://www.hoka.com/

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What are the exact error messages?

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi: I've tried troubleshoot mode, disabling ad block plus and disabling enhanced tracking. But I keep getting the "406 Not Acceptable" response. The site I'm trying to access is https://www.hoka.com/en/ca/ Thanks

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or blocked cookies.

  • check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions"

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Sorry, this has become too complicated for me. I've cleared cookies, tried troubleshoot mode, restarted Firefox. and I'm still getting the '406 not acceptable'. I'll just stop using Firefox as my default browser--I don't experience these problems when using Chrome.

When I tried going to the website again, I got a message saying they only ship to Canada.

Web search: https://www.bing.com/search?q=406+not+acceptable "The 406 Not Acceptable status code is an error message that means your website or web application does not support the client's request with a particular protocol. Basically, this includes everything from an unsupported protocol to a bad user agent (think Internet Explorer) and more. "
