bookmarks
I had an issue, and had to start over with Firefox. But now, I want to find my bookmarks without going through 3 or four steps. I don't know how to get back to the way it was before. I have searched your website, but I am not real computer savey.
Chosen solution
Are there any bookmarks visible in the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Ctrl+Shift+O) ? Are there bookmarks available to restore ?
- Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup -> Restore

Firefox automatically restores your bookmarks when you uninstall and reinstall. You likely just have the Bookmarks Toolbar hidden (assuming that is where you keep your bookmarks).
Right click on an empty space on the top and go to Bookmarks Toolbar->Always Show.
