Firefox 99.0.1 Update Disabled ALL my Extensions
I was using Firefox 98.0.2, and it was good, saw there was an update to 99.0.1, so I updated. Next thing I know, ALL of my extensions are disabled, and I cannot install any from addons.mozilla.org because of an error message from there saying addon is corrupted
all the addons I installed from addons.mozilla.org were working JUST FINE a MINUTE AGO, then this happens. What, the HFIL is going on mozilla, why did you break the browser just now?
Chosen solution
the tl;dr is I took the addon trick I used away and tried installing an addon from a temp profile and it worked, went back to my MAIN profile and found out I can re-enable them again, but I have to reinstall all my addons, which thankfully DIDN'T erase my settings for them, afterwards I was able to put the trick back and it DID not disable my addons again. Somewhere along the line, something that this 99.0.1 update did had to have conflicted with my trick and disabled my stuff, forcing me to participate in this wild goose chase. I hope I never have to experience this again, because chrome never clicked with me, and im tired of using different browsers for one website, its dumb and infuriating
