
Thunderbird couldn't connect to one.com accounts. Error message: banned by policy
Hello, this issue appeared today without a reason (couldn't find any change to my system): Thunderbird couldn't connect to one.com accounts. Error message: banned by policy Other Email accounts (e.g. strato.de) hosted by thunderbird work flawlessly. One.com support has no idea how to fix this issue and blames Thunderbird. Maybe someone here has an idea?

I could solve the issue by myself. After I found out that another software showed the same issue, I reconnected my router (e.g. switching the router off and on) to retrieve a new IP number. After that the issue was gone. So most likely the issue was caused by one.com and thunderbird was not to blame.
