Hello I bought a new monitor and my screen resolution is: 1440 x 2560 Question: How to change the default size of the text that is displayed for a received message in Thunderbird? I want my larger size text separate from the size I use to compose a message.

I know I can use the mouse wheel + the Ctrl button on the keyboard to increase the size of the text which stays the same for any other messages while the Thunderbird window is open. It reverts back to a smaller size after you close and re-open the program. Question: How to keep the larger size? I have a userChrome file. Is there something I add to it for this?

Thanks. I have mine at 16 for the font size as I think this is the size the receiver sees. I decided I would just use my ctrl button on the keyboard and the scroll wheel to increase what I see when composing a an email. ctrl + scroll wheel

To set the display fonts for messages, Preferences/General/Language & Appearance, Advanced, set the fonts and sizes with Fonts for: Latin and repeat with Fonts for: Other Writing Systems, and uncheck 'Allow messages to use other fonts'.
