Hello, I have Firefox 96.0.3 installed as my default browser. Since late December I can no longer connect to MS Teams meetings as a guest. As in, I get to the waiting room and then the connection crashes out. Teams app no longer works which might be an MS issue. But I cannot connect via the browser connection using Firefox either. I think this might be a Firefox issue as Chrome seems to work. Any ideas? I see that other people have had similar issues with past version of Firefox. For me, everything worked just fine until the last couple of weeks of December.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi FredMcD

Thanks for your suggestions. I've cleared the cache and cookies and maybe that will help.

When checking the security settings, I noticed that with Firefox I'm no longer getting the option to connect to a Teams meeting (as a guest) via a browser, whereas I am in Chrome. See attached shots.

I used to see the browser option in Firefox up until the last week or so. I do sometimes experience websites that don't present properly in Firefox ie buttons not showing etc but this is a new issue with Teams.

Secondly, I've realised I have Firefox accounts linked to two different email addresses. I wondering if being signed into Firefox on say email 1 and then trying to access Teams from an appointment sent to email 2 could potentially cause a connection issue?

Many thanks Catherine

I don't know anything about the 'Teams' site. Maybe others will respond.

If you have the app installed on your computer, you should see the prompt to open the app from Firefox. The website is not for us(Firefox users).  ;-(( see screenshots
