Drag and drop 'delete button' missing

Hello folks,

This is a very minor thing but since installing and configuring Thunderbird the delete button on top menu has disappeared.

When you click on the top menu bar to customise it gives you the option to drag icons back and forth, I dragged the delete button but may have inadvertently let go (sounds awful :) leaving it to float off into space..

I have the delete button on reading pane which is fine (btw, how do I customise this bar?)

In the menu dialogue box I tried resetting to default which it did but still no delete button for selection or on the bar itself, difficult topic to research as it returns many entries.

Thanks all

I suggest Help>Troubleshooting Mode. Then, on restart, click the 'reset toolbars and controls option on the startup panel and then click 'make changes and restart' - I think that will give you the Delete button back.
