Websites to not render correctly appears CSS disabled or limited

The update that was installed on June 8, 2021 caused websites to render incorrectly. I requested help and also posted the issue on Twitter back then. Someone suggested CSS issue. I did nothing but allow the new update from that time to take effect. The images are on Twitter at: https://twitter.com/joesabin/status/1402200662688010242?s=20

I have continued to upgrade hoping for a bug fix, but to date, the problem remains.

Thank you! Joe

Chosen Solution

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Fonts and Colors -> and press the Colors... button.
  2. Set Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above = Never.

Thank you very much! Unbelievably frustrating. I would *never* have thought to look at colors to alter the way a webpage is rendered. Not only did it fix that, but it fixed the start page that showed tiny little icons.

Thanks again, Happy New Year!

Note that this is probably about High Contrast Mode got enabled that blocks background images.

Thanks for the input. My problem has been resolved by the colors issue mentioned above. Joe
