Thunderbird crashes quite often lately.

I have also observed strange behaviour : Getting message 225 869 of 58 064 in INBOX

There seems a problem with syncing of my email account.

I have gotten the following crash reports: bp-43da773c-ed95-4274-a828-cac7c1211212 bp-c0df355a-133c-4f7d-b4a5-fb2761211212 bp-80406a07-709f-410a-9529-a23861211212 bp-6272d6eb-d446-4f50-afe3-237db1211212

There is also a problem when clicking a URL link in Thunderbird this will open a stamp size window for Firefox and starting 3 instances of Firefox as well as background Firefox task. I have to close all these manually before being able to open FIrefox for normal operation again.

I have used both Firefox and Thunderbird for many years and never had such problems.

Thanks Wayne, I will try this out. Very possible since I also got messages like "19.5GB of disk space freed" and "could not compress folder due to another background activity".

I will try and post the result here.
